Accessing your account when you've forgotten your username or password

Until consolidating signing up and logging in across United Baristas into UB-iD in 2021, there were two identity providers and two proceeding versions of UB-iD.

If you use United Baristas infrequently, your old log in details may need to be updated to be more secure. For most users this is as simple as resetting your password. Some users may need their account reset.  


Changing / Resetting your Password  

Your can change your password using UB-iD:

  • Start logging in to the United Baristas service you want to use
  • You'll be redirected to UB-iD
  • Click 'Forgot Password?'
  • Enter your UB-iD email address

A password reset email will be sent to your email.

Click the link in the email and reset your password. 

Make sure your password at least 8 characters including at least 3 of the following 4 types of characters: a lower-case letter, an upper-case letter, a number, a special character (such as !@#$%^&*).
Or use password generator, such as in Safari or Chrome.


Take a minute to update/delete previous passwords in any password apps, such as in Safari or Chrome.

Current UB-iD passwords use the domain – so you can delete previous passwords for marketplace.unitedbaristas etc.

Forgot your username (your email)?

If you have forgotten your UB-iD email, you can contact support. We will try to identify your UB-iD email address.

Please note we can only reconnect you with accounts that have your organisations domain, for example '<name>'.


Changing your UB-iD email  

If you need to change the email associated with your UB-iD, please contact support. In most cases we will ask you to:

  • create a new UB-iD
  • and then we will transfer any listings and subscriptions to that new UB-iD
  • and (optionally) delete the old UB-iD

This process is largely the same if you are taking on a (former) colleague's United Baristas account. Please create the new UB-iD and contact support explaining the old and new UB-iD address and the services you ideally want transferred. Please note it may be not possible to transfer all account details and we are not able to transfer accounts across domains, for example from to  


Deleting your UB-iD and United Baristas Accounts  

Please contact support from your UB-iD email to request an account deletion. This action deletes all account details.
